On Pointe is divided into 4 teams:

DIAMONDS
Team Diamonds is our beginner dance team. A strong focus on the foundations of dance as well as developing body and spatial awareness is one of the main goals. Technique and performance etiquette is also included in this class structure.
Ages: 5 to 10 years old
Class Day: Mondays (start date aug 11)
Time: 6:30 – 8:15 pm
Coach/Instructor: Ms. Kristen
Dance Genres: Ballet | Jazz | Tap | Hip-Hop | Contemporary
SAPPHIRES
Team Sapphires has a focus on the physical, technical, expressive, and mental skills of dance. Dancers on this team will learn terminology, combinations, and movements that will help strengthen their foundation and technique. Along with using acting techniques and confidence building to help push them as a performer overall. This is the intermediate -prep for On Pointe Creative Dance Company. Many young ladies advance from this team with the necessary requirements to audition for Elite.
Ages: 11 – 16 years old or invite only from Director
Class Day: Saturdays (start date aug 16)
Time: 12:00 – 2:30pm

Elite COMP Team
In an effort to elevate ‘Elite’ to a higher level of artistry, technical ability, movement quality/accuracy, knowledge of subject matter and overall
performance quality are the main points of intent for the young ladies on this team. Members of this team are pushed to their limits physically and
mentally to further their growth in creativity and strength as a well rounded dancer. This is the award winning competition team of On Pointe Creative Dance Company.
Dancers must audition to become a member of this team. This team is under contract and performs locally and nationally as
well as competes.
Ages: 13 – 18 years old or invite only from Director
Class Day: Thursdays + Saturdays
Time: Thursdays 7:00pm-9:00pm + Saturdays 2:45-5:45pm

5,6,7,8…
The purpose of And…5,6,7,8 is to bring ladies together with a love and passion for the art of dance in a safe and comfortable environment. It also serves as a creative outlet for members to learn, grow, train, bond and ultimately perform without any judgement. Ladies on this team will learn a variety of dance styles weekly in class and have the opportunity to perform throughout the season and ultimately grace the big stage at Spring Concert! Ladies do not need to have previous dance experience to join this team but an open mind to learn something new. Let’s Dance!
